At the age of thirteen I saved up enough money to buy my 1st 35mm camera, from that moment forward photography and art has been the focus of my life.
My high school days were consumed by exploring all the limitations of the photographic process , after graduation I moved on to The University of Arizona where I was able to study under Todd Walker who guided me to transfer to his alma matter Art Center College of Design( Pasadena) . After attending Art Center I moved to Kansas City and started work as an assistant for several commercial photographers until I landed a position of in house photographer for Black and Veatch Engineering , it was a dream opportunity as they sent me all across the country photographing every type of industrial plant you can image. At that point I started to want more than just photography I was fascinated with the design and conception which took me on my next adventure to Bernstein Rein Advertising in Kansas City . In a short time I became Director of Photography for all clients which included , McDonalds , Bayer Pharma, USAA, Capitol One, Wal Mart and many more of the top corporations in the world. While I enjoyed every part of my time at Bernstein Rein my heart was always in Arizona, in 2009 I moved to the Phoenix area starting off as a photographer, designer and Creative Director for Fox Concepts for over 10yrs . During my time in Kansas City I started creating the base of my work today ,which is an expression of my daily travels in multiple views creating one singular image. I was featured in 4 different galley shows and started to share my art with many others. Recently I have found myself in a creative place I could never imagined in the commercial world spending the last 2 years creating 2 pop up art shows and numerous commissions along with chartering my work with many people around the valley. My recent Dive Bar Ballerinas was a tribute to the beauty of ballet and challenge to the short life of opportunities for a ballerina. Is the future for them, ballets in dive bars ?
Everyday I get lost driving , hiking or searching the internet. Every time I get lost I find my next adventure .
